So…I took the sock class a few weeks ago to learn, I thought, how to do two socks at a time on the magic loop. I expected to learn the loop and toe up. I am so stoked because I learned soooo much from this class. I learned: 1. (revised) Magic Cast-on 2. Magic Loop 3. Toe-up 4. Two at a time 5. Lea-Ann’s interpretation of the Jo-Jo Heel.
I am not prepared to say that I will do all my future socks this way, because there is just something I like about the dp’s BUT, if I want socks, and I want them (relatively) quickly, and I don’t want to piddle with a heel flap I will most definitely knit socks this way again. If you’ve been even remotely considering taking this class the next time it’s offered, don’t hesitate!
Had the first class last night. Wow, what a great cast on. I think I can even remember this one, well I hope I can. Now to start knitting so I can get to where I need to turn the heel, so much to do and so little time…
