Merry Christmas

Finally, all the surgeries for the grandkids are done. The flu had come and gone. I had a few hours to hit the stores last night. Let me tell you how much you can buy at Walmart, Rural King and Kroger. I have not knit a stitch in weeks and I’m feeling it!! Please tell me you are gifting knitting for Christmas?? Can you upload pictures in the comments? I don’t even remember how this blog thing works!!

Grandkids grow so fast! What a blessing they are. Thinking of all my knitters though, missing you, and wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

  1. Hi Lea-Ann, Sounds like you have been pretty busy with illness, surgeries, and all. I hope you all, and all my fellow knitters have a very Merry Christmas and that you all enjoy time with your families. No knitting gifts for me this year, but when I finish putting the binding on the Christmas quilt I am giving, I can get back to knitting the socks I am making for myself. Truly, I don’t like wearing any other socks but hand knit ones!

  2. Lea-Ann, I miss you also Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and A Happy Healthy New year. I am not gifting as much knitting this year. A pair of socks for my niece/goddaughter, a bear heat for my great nephew, and a pair of mitts/hat for my best friend. God’s Blessings to you

  3. Glad all the surgeries are complete and things seem to be improving…wish I could say the same but things will improve here too. My 15 year Blazer broke, no longer could go in reverse, so yesterday was spent getting a new car and doing so while feeling poorly is not a good combo. Thank goodness for husband. No real gift giving knitting going on but my brother is here cat sitting while we travel west so I will gift him a few things and hope he does not lose them. Otherwise the sun is out here, the temps are warming, reliable transportation again, travels soon, food in the house and good friends and family around so life is good.

Merry Christmas to you and yours…..

  4. Oh, and I am gifting knitting this year again. All the grandkids will receive a pair of fingerless mitts!! One to finish today. Nothing like coming down to the wire!!
