Stash-tastic posting!

I’m all about my stash. Of course, I buy yarn for projects, projects I start, and even finish. But I’ve picked up a WHOLE LOTTA YARN that I had absolutely no clue whatsoever what I was going to use it for, and so what! Sometimes I just go through the stash, and see that yarn, maybe even touch it! It makes me feel happy!

John Keats’ poem “Endymion” begins:

A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness;

That’s my stash. It’s a thing of beauty, a joy forever. If I make something from it, THAT thing is a thing of beauty and a new joy forever. But the stash remains beautiful.

Unless the moths get it.

I think this message was written just for me, because I’ve been in limbo trying to get some projects done and not wanting to do them at all. I picked up the needles and casted on a new project today (Jewel and Shawl Collared Shawl so I’m back in the saddle Thanks, Tara! BAM! That was EASY! — Lea-Ann
