Yeah, what is one more hobby? I am with you, do I want to learn or do I want to just knit more. Decisions! Decisions! I hope the sock yarn looks at good as the rovings and I will be checking back to find out. Hilary is one very talented young woman. Wish I still had that much energy.

Glad to see March up and growing on the web site. Good job Susan, I always enjoy your blogs.

Cannot wait to see the spring/summer colors. Cotton yarn is more important now that it gets hot down here very early. Have a good day and great talking to you.

Yep. Probably a couple trips, Kathy, as I'll be there for the surgery toward the end of April and then go back again to help on and off during recovery. 6-8 weeks they say. I worked for ten rows and then put it away. Did a little puzzle on the phone, ten more rows, etc. But each row adds a stitch so they are getting longer and longer :-). I dont know what I was thinking about the color though, its the same as the kid n'ewe that has been sitting around the store waiting for me to make a cardigan. Must really love those great lakes blues (not the official colorway). Tara had snagged the Kid 'n Ewe for her 4-H project but the gauge is just too far off so she's switching gears and I'll have it back to make my cardigan. Send me a private message on facebook, I want to hear about your house hunting, moving, etc.

So I did guess right? It does pay to remember previous Facebook postings. Hope you are able to knit quite a bit on the return trip back to IN. Another trip in your future, though? Hope all goes well.

I just put some cross stitch kits that were in my bedroom in the Goodwill sack over Snow days.. I have lost all interest in doing that now. It's all about the yarn and sticks now.

Hi Susan, offer was accepted after a couple to and fros. More house than we had originally planned for but the choices here are from the one extreme to the other extreme and not that many in the middle and those go quickly. We hope to close around spring break so we can do the move at that time and before things get really crazy around the end of the term. It will be nice to have the stash all in one place because I really should not be buying anything new because of what this house cost. As you say the really fun part is the dithering over which fiber and which pattern and fondling and moving around and finding something you completely forgot you had, so I will be doing lots of that I am sure. I will keep my fingers crossed if you really want some snow, is that good enough? Also some of what I might have bought in reference to Starry and that pattern we both liked, I guess I lost out and I hope the recipients enjoy their great purchases.

Keeping fingers crossed for you and snow....

Kathy- so glad to hear that you found a house! Hopefully you have already heard that the accepted your offer and are looking forward to closing. Won't it be nice to have all of your things (read: yarn) out of storage and at your disposal?

I am sure, Jan, that my husband would say the same thing if he heard me talking about cross stitching anytime soon. I am sure he got very tired of going to bed alone and watching me drag around because I'd been up until 2:00 a.m. (again) working on the crazy thing. And I sort of got the impression that I might get a bit cranky when deprived of sleep.

So beautiful, Susan. I am glad you can cross this project off your list. Best of all your daughter is happy with it. Perhaps if you sit down and clear your head this urge to cross stitch will pass. Wish I had a recording of you moaning and groaning about having to finish this one :)
