I want do knit & crochet some hats for the hospital. I haven't done much charity knitting but reading difference post has really got me to thinking alot about it. What a great contribution. I did some hats for camp last year and felt really good about it.

Happy New Year Everyone!

I want to make my daughter who collects giraffes, a full size afghan with giraffes knitted into it.
I had planned on doing it in 2008, but between health problems and too much other to do, it didn't happen, so that is my big goal for 2009.
Outside of that, get a head start on making hats and scarves for charity for this coming CHRISTmas.

I've had my eye on a Vogue Knitting (hand knit) sweater jacket with hood since Fall 2000. I finally started it this past fall. It will be for me, finally. I've been too busy knitting for everyone else. This is my "big" project for last year and this and I'm determined to have it done for early spring this year 2009. I've wanted this for a long time. I'm up to the armhole decreasing at this writing. I will post pictures when it's done. Come on Lea Ann, match my determination!

I'm hoping that this year will be the year for a sweater for ME! Looking to do a jacket type (think Jean Frost) sweater appropriate for work, probably in a DK weight to make it a three-season wearable.

I am interested in knitting the beautiful green wrap (?) I am not sure what you call it that has the cable pattern in it that is in your store. I just love it. I would use the Shephards wool and that will probably be my next big project and it will be for myself...

My son will be getting his first "real" apartment sometime this year. The one he had at college doesn't count. My big project for this year will be an afghan when he moves in.
