A new classic debuts: Kyler’s Cardigan from Cottage Creations

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

Cottage Creations has done it again, a new classic called Kyler’s Kardigan a.k.a. The Wonderful Wallaby Top-Down Garter Stitch Cardigan for the Family. As Susan says in her description at http://www.knittingtoday.com/go.mvc?ID=82314,

Kyler's Cardigan“I think the name pretty much says it all! This is a top-down cardigan knitted entirely in garter stitch. The pattern gives the options of either a zip or buttoned closure, and a hood or a collar. Sized for children Size 2 through Adult Extra-Large. ”

And, wouldn’t it look lovely for moi done in the Midnight Lake from Shepherd’s Wool?  Have you felt that stuff yet?  I just keep wandering by the shelf and fondling - oh no!

New Noni Patterns

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

As promised, the new fall line of Noni patterns is here!  I am in love with the boys’ and girls’ pants and T’s sets.  I can visualize my kids when they were little running and tumbling and rolling around in an outfit like this. Almost makes me wish I still had a little one… almost.  The Ella and the Legume Coat is absolutely adorable and how can you go wrong with a hoodie pattern that goes from a size 2T right up through an adult 50″ chest?  Okay, enough talking… click on the link to see all the Noni patterns, including the new fall line:   Show Me The Noni!

P.S.  Don’t forget, we will be glad to special order the hardware for the bags too!

Project Notes from Lea-Ann: I’m knitting mine with Galway color 8 — http://www.knittingtoday.com/go.mvc?ID=70880008 — which is pretty white. I’m hopeful it will felt. In fact, maybe that’s the reason I woke up at 2am this morning wide awake — to test felt the Galway!! BRB
