Do you tweet?

I’m trying, but not getting the hang of it yet.  Tell me how you do it?  From the phone, the web, is there a tutorial somewhere to help me understand??  I’m @knittingtoday, I think . . . Lea-Ann

This is one extra thing I plan NOT to participate in at this point of my life. I have too much going on as it is but good luck on figuring out how to do this.

  • if you are following knittingtoday on twitter, can you send me a tweet so I can see what it looks like on the page?? I’m getting sooo confused and maybe its because I’m not using my phone for it. . . . unless Tom gets an at&t UPS discount, looks like I’m stuck with verizon so will eventually get a blackberry.

  • Hiya! I used to tweet, I stopped. I kept getting invites from twitter people that were actually porno/spam type things and it was one more “clutter up my inbox” issue to deal with. I was tweeting basically because my “followers” wanted to know when I updated my blog (because I am so bad at not doing that) or when their spindolyn would ship. Basically, to do it for any other reason seems sort of silly, I mean, who really cares what I am doing? and if they care that much, they can check out my blog or my ravelry, or, for pity’s sake, just email me and say, whats up?
There used to be some sort of “notify me when this blog updates feature” but I think that has gone by the wayside?
Do you read Seth’s blog? (it is very useful for small business owners) he has a post about how many people we can actually have in our circle who actually care that is pretty interesting. It is at http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2009/10/the-penalty-for-violating-dunbars-law.html
Anyway, I am just saying ; ) for me, it felt silly and a time waster.
