What a great idea to share your snowman stories like this. I have found a new yarn that I like for snowman. It is Nashua's Ivy in cream. If you are unfamiliar with this yarn, it has a very fine silvery thread that runs along with the cream. It felts beautifully and quickly, with a faint sparkle to it. It looks icy and snowman-like. I am not sure Knitting Today carries it, but you might want to look into it. It is always fun to try new yarns. Happy Winter!

Well I could not have this entry not have a comment so here it comes. Went to several yarn stores while in St. Louis but you still have a good variety for a smaller store. I find when I am in a larger store that I get overwhelmed with product overload. I did find some new wool to work with to make some more Moebius baskets, but that has to be after I start this pattern for the snowmen. I have all the supplies, but as usual have not started it. Did your yarn felt? I am looking forward to making some of the cute assessories. I think that will really make the snowman pop. Only time will tell. How was you Christmas and New Year?
